Dear Friends,
Dutch Ruppersberger is the worst Obama-Pelosi puppy in the United States Congress. Dutch will follow any command that Obama and Pelosi give him including voting for Obamacare, the bailouts, stimulus, increased spending, record-breaking debt, and illegal alien amnesty proposals. Yes, the big government liberals in Washington can count on Dutch.
With the explosion in Egypt and Middle East of chaos and uncertainty, Ruppersberger is on the wrong side of events once again. He is a long time member of the House Intelligence Committee and now the ranking Democrat member. To demonstrate how far out of touch Ruppersberger is, he recently stated that the Muslim Brotherhood has moderated and deserves recognition. As an Intelligence Committee member, he supported the x-rated x-ray machines at airports and the unconstitutional groping of fellow citizens. He was "in the know" when the government was allowing 800,000 people access to top secrets which eventually resulted in the massive Wiki Leaks publications endangering our national security. Dutch takes pride in being a member of the Intelligence Committee, but frankly, it scares the heck out of me.
A major supporter of the stimulus program which in Maryland averages about $2,500 per resident, he was only able to secure about $300 per resident for his district. It is amazing that a blind follower of President Obama and loyal member of the powerful Democrat machine in Maryland could produce such paltry results.
The Second Congressional District consists of mainstream patriotic communities. There are many Reagan Democrats. The common war cry heard throughout the District is that Dutch has abandoned his moderate views and during his eight years in Congress, he has become another Washington liberal. It is clearly time for change and new leadership in the Second Congressional District.
During my four terms in the Maryland General Assembly, I have been an independent, common sense voice. I have voted against the last 6 budgets and have fought the free-wheeling spending of the O'Malley administration. I have received the Taxpayer's Advocates Award for never voting for a tax increase.
A major issue that has impacted our nation and our state is the invasion of 15 million illegal aliens. In Maryland, these intruders have cost our taxpayers 2 billion dollars a year and the numbers are growing larger as Maryland becomes the number one sanctuary state in America. As a legislator, I have introduced 15 bills on illegal immigration in this session in an attempt to fight back. Hundreds of volunteers have been recruited to support the effort. I have also been the primary sponsor of the bill that would make English Maryland's official language. This is the type of activism, commitment, and dedication to constitutional and basic American principles that are desperately needed.
America stands at the crossroads. This is the last generation of "We the People" who are in a position to change the course and direction of our nation. To paraphrase President Reagan, "Freedom is always only one generation away from extinction." It is now time to rise to the occasion, answer the call, restore the pride, re-ignite the greatness, and rally for America! I ask you to join me in this historic effort to preserve our great nation. Your support for my candidacy for election to the House of Representatives will be sincerely appreciated.
